The securities contained in the SMI® currently represent more than 90 per cent of the entire market capitalization as well as 90per cent of the trading volume of all Swiss and Liechtenstein equities listed on the SIX (Swiss Exchange).

The Japanese cash market is the largest and most important market in Asia. With our MSCI Japan index future we enable our European and US customers to better hedge their Japanese equity exposure and offer at the same time new trading opportunities.
The MSCI Japan index represents approximately 85 percent of the market capitalization of Japanese stocks and comprises nearly 350 of the largest companies listed on the main Japanese cash markets.
The future will be denominated in US dollar, settled in cash and will have quarterly expiration dates.
The MSCI Russia Index comprises the largest Russian companies by market capitalization meeting certain minimum liquidity and free float screens, for companies incorporated in Russia with a listing in Russia, London or New York. The weighting of the components is not capped. Currently it contains 32 companies, and it is reviewed four times a year. Settlement of the index future and index option will be made in cash, with one index point worth USD 25. The future expires in March, June, September and December. Index options are offered with expirations up to 24 months.
